• Music Therapy at the Royal Irish Academy of Music Dublin I hold a clinic every Saturday. Clients by referral or direct through the college. Call the Academy 353 1 6764412 for more information and availability. I work within the Royal Irish Academy of Music on strategies and solutions to integrate music pupils with special needs and work on education programmes to help music teachers fulfil these goals.

  •  Music Therapy  For individuals or groups. These take place at a designated suitable venue. A full (free) assessment as to suitability and defined goals is tailored to each client or group. As Music Therapy is an ongoing process, a minimum of ten weeks is recommended. This is a long-term treatment based on the development of a non-verbal relationship between the client/s and Music Therapist. However, the length of therapy can be discussed and the decision to carry on can be reviewed regularly. Some people have Music Therapy for a short period of time while others continue to have Music Therapy for many years.

*Rates are commensurate with clinical therapist rates ( Pre-paid courses will be discounted.)   A block of sessions will include an Assessment Report following the first two-three sessions and when the therapy comes to an end there will be a Final Discharge Report.  Service providers email me for details.

  • I was interviewed as part of #WorldMentalHealthWeek 2018 on WIMS FM Listen to the podcast here to find out more about me and my story.
